Roe V. Wade overturned by US Supreme Court

What: The United States Supreme Court has overturned ‘Roe V. Wade’ which is the historic 1973 judgement that legalised abortion in US.

When: The decision was made on 24th of June, Friday.

What’s next: This decision is said to set the country back 50 years. Total bans on abortion will come into effect in nearly half the country’s states.
