• Microplastics have been discovered by scientists in human blood for the very first time.

• Scientists have raised warnings that this discovery means and indicates that these microplastics can even find their way into our organs.

• Microplastics have already been found almost everywhere on Earth be it in the deepest of oceans, in the air, soil and even the food chain.

• The study stated, “It is scientifically plausible that plastic particles may be transported to organs via the bloodstream”.
