Meesho introduces infinite wellness leave policy

What: The social commerce startup Meesho has introduced infinite wellness policy in the company. This policy will allow employees to take leave for a whole year i.e. 365 days. The employees will be able to take paid leave for a year if their loved ones or themselves are suffering from a critical illness that requires frequent hospitalizations.

To pursue passion: The policy allows an employee to take leave to pursue an individual passion or goal. In this case, the leave will be unpaid.

A word from Meesho's Board: "We were seeing cases where employees needed long leave for pursuing personal goals or needed extended time off if they were ill, or if a family member was critically ill. This new policy is a recognition of those needs," Meesho CHRO Ashish Kumar Singh said.
