What: As 35 of the Shiv Sena MLAs in Maharashtra have grown wary of party chief and current state CM Uddhav Thackeray, the political crisis only seems to be growing in the state.
NCP's move: Amidst the growing crisis, coalition partner of Shiv Sena, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has called for a meeting of all its MLAs and MLCs tomorrow.
Rebel MLAs: They have passed a resolution against Uddhav Thackeray, stating that there is looming corruption in the government, that party cadres are facing harassment, compromise of Shiv Sena's ideology by aligning with contradictory ideologies.
Thackeray's statement: "Hindutva is in our breath. It is not the time to talk about who has done what for Hindutva, " Uddhav Thackeray said, adding, "I have been trying to take Balasaheb's Hindutva ahead."
