Johnny Depp not returning to ‘Pirates of The Caribbean’

What: A recent rumour has it that Disney offered Johnny Depp $301 million to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the renowned Pirates of the Caribbean movie soon after he won the defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard. The spokesperson for Johnny Depp rejected these rumours as "made up." The $301 million appears to be a reference to a famous conversation that actor and Heard's attorney Ben Rottenborn had during the trial when Heard's attorney asked Depp if it's true that he will never work with Disney even if it offers $300 million to him. To which Depp replied, "That's true."

When: As per reports Johnny Depp's representative denied this rumour on June 28th.

What’s next:The Pirates of the Caribbean actor is collaborating with guitarist Jeff Beck for an album that will be published sometime in July. He is also cast as King Louis XV in the historical drama Jeanne Du Barry (with director Mawenn playing the title role) back in January. Moreover, Johnny Depp is scheduled to make another court appearance soon after being charged with assaulting a crew member.
