Govt spent Rs 9,725 crore on vaccination till now: MoS Health

• The Centre on Friday informed that an amount of Rs 9,725.1 crore has been spent on the Covid-19 vaccination in the country so far.

• Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar, MoS (Health) on Friday stated in the Lok Sabha that this amount had been spent on the procurement as well as the administration of the vaccination.

• He further added that vaccines worth Rs 135 crore will be available in the country between August and December 2021.

• It was highlighted that more than 2.75 crore balance and unutilised COVID-19 vaccine doses are still available with the states, UTs and private hospitals to be administered.
