Govt. Relaxes Business-Establishment Process In J&K to Attract More Investments
The Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) administration has implemented several measures that will help in simplifying the business establishment process.
The administration has relaxed No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for setting up businesses in Jammu & Kashmir. Earlier 15 NOCs were required but now the number been reduced to a bare minimum.
The decision was made by Administrative Council under the leadership of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
"These bare minimum NOCs/approvals shall be required subsequently, for which two sets of single-window committees have been established — one for business units coming up within industrial estates and another committee for units outside the industrial estates," an official spokesperson said.
