Onkar MehraGovt. recommends anti-dumping duty on aluminium imports from China
On Friday, the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) recommended imposing anti-dumping duty on the import of some aluminium products from China.
The DGTR is the investigative subsidiary of the Union Commerce Ministry.
They have recommended imposing a duty on certain flat-rolled products of aluminium that are imported from the country.
"The Authority, therefore, considers it necessary to recommend imposition of the definitive anti-dumping duty...on all imports of the subject goods...originating in or exported from China," the DGTR said.
