Govt. Of India Asks WhatsApp To Withdraw New Changes From Its Privacy Policy

• The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology on the behalf of Indian government has asked WhatsApp to withdraw the new changes from its privacy policy.

• The ministry wrote a letter to WhatsApp’s CEO Will Cathcart asking the company to withdraw the new changes.

• "it raise grave concerns regarding the implications for the choice and autonomy of Indian citizens," the letter said.
