Govt. Extends Current Foreign Trade Policy Till Sept 2021

• On Wednesday, the Government of India extended the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-20 till September 30, 2021.

• The policy was to originally expire on 31st March 2020 but the government had extended the policies till the next year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Today, the government has again extended these policies.

• "The existing FTP 2015-20, which is valid up to March 31, 2021, is extended up to September 30, 2021," the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) said in a notification.
