Government easies Visa curbs

• The Centre on Thursday eased curbs on visa and arrival of people from other countries after air travel had been restricted for almost 6 months due to the Pandemic.

• Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders and foreign nationals, can now visit India for any purpose except on tourist visa.

• In a move to revive the air travel, the Government has also restored the validity of all existing visas. However, electronic, tourist and medical visas still continue to be restricted.

• All the travelers, however, will have to follow all the required guidelines and quarantine requirements as enlisted by the Union Health Ministry.
