Government e-Market Place records lower prices than Amazon & Flipkart

• As per the analysis, the products listed on Government e-Marketplace (GeM) recorded 9.5% lower prices in omparison to the prices listed on the ecommerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.

• 10 out of 22 commodities were cheaper on the GeM platform.

• Parker Jotter Standard Ball pen, Godrej Interio Elite Mid Back Chair and Bajaj Pulsar recorded lower prices on the ecommerce platform.

• On Monday, economic survey was released which showed the analysis.

• The top five saving categories ranged from 23.5 to 60%.
