The Bihar Government on Saturday announced that the women aspirants from the general category, appearing for central and state civil service exams, will get an amount of Rs.1 lakh on clearing the prelims.
The state government announced that its Women and Child Development Corporation (WCDC) will provide the amount to the candidates so as to help them prepare for main exam and the interview.
While announcing the scheme, Managing Director of Women and Child Development Corporation (WCDC), Harjot Kaur Bamhare, stated that "The incentive will be provided to those women candidates who have not received financial assistance or grants under civil services encouragement schemes in the past."
