Global Economy To Expand By 4% In 2021: World Bank
On Tuesday, the World Bank said that the global economy is expected to expand by 4% in 2021.
The bank also informed that due to the rise in COVID-19 infections and delays in vaccine distribution, the recovery rate is expected to reach 1.6% this year.
Last year, the global economy contracted by 4.3%.
“The near-term outlook remains highly uncertain,” the Bank said in a statement.
