France sees another terror attack

• A church in the French city of Nice saw a suspected terror attack after a knife-wielding attacker beheaded a woman and killed two other people on Thursday.

• Nice city's Mayor, Christian Estrosi said that the incident took place in or near the Notre Dame church. The mayor further termed the incident as a terror attack and said that the attack repeatedly said 'Allahu Akbar'.

• One of the people killed inside the church was believed to be the church warden, Estrosi said, adding that a woman had tried to escape from inside the church and had fled into a bar opposite the building.

• He further said that the attacker was shot while being detained by the police and was being taken to the hospital.
