Forensic Lab asked to speed up Report on Delhi Riots videos

• In relation with a Delhi riot case, a Delhi Court has ordered the forensic science laboratory to expedite and report their reports on the videos etc. issued by Delhi Police. (Kalita Devangana vs State)

• The Court further ordered the Delhi Police to take action at the earliest to file additional chargesheets along with forensic records.

• The case involves the February 2020 disturbances in Jafrabad in the north-east part of Delhi.

• In an application moved by Pinjra Tod protester, Devangana Kalita (applicant), and accused in the case, Fahad Uddin, Metropolitan Magistrate, Shahdara, passed the order.
