Find who will be Uttarakhand's CM
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which registered a win in the Uttarakhand legislative assembly elections today announced its pick for the post of Chief Minister.
Pushkar Singh Dhami, will take the post of the Chief Minister of the state for a second term, even though Dhami lost his own seat of Khatima.
Despite his losing the seat, the decision has been taken while recognising Dhami's efforts in spearheading the party's campaign that led the party to a record second straight term.
Mr Dhami was made the Chief Minister in July last year after his predecessors Trivendra Singh Rawat and Tirath Singh Rawat came under a lot of criticism over their leadership.
