• Netflix is running a test to crack down on password sharing.

• People will now be charged by the company to add new profiles to their accounts. • A Netflix spokesperson said that accounts are being shared between households which is impacting the company’s ability to invest in new TV and films for their members.

• Subscribers will now be charged to share their accounts for upto two people outside their households.

• This test is being run in Chile, Peru and Costa Rica for now.
