
FDI inflows up by 168% in April-June 2021
On Thursday, the government said that India attracted Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) of $17.57 billion during the April-June 2021.
FDI equity inflows increased by 168% in the April-June of FY22 at $17.57 billion. Including equity inflows, re-invested earnings, and other capital , the total FDI inflows stood at $22.53 billion in the first three months of FY22.
"FDI equity inflow grew by 168 per cent in the first three months of 2021-22 (USD 17.57 billion) compared to the year ago period (USD 6.56 billion)," an official data said.
