As the ‘Delhi Chalo’ protests by farmer’s organisations entered it’s 11th day of protests, the call for Bharat Bandh by the farmer unions on December 8, saw support of different Opposition parties.
On Sunday morning, AAP Delhi CM Arvind Kejariwal stated that this party extends ‘full support’ to the Bharat Bandh call.
The Congress party has also extended their support for the bandh, followed by TMC, Bihar’s RJD, Tamil Nadu’s DMK, UP’s Samajwadi party.
Congress party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala tweeted earlier this morning in support of the farmers and for a repeal of the laws: “Pick your pen, apologise to anndaata and annul the black laws immediately”.
As per the Farmer unions leaders, the Bandh will be observed by farmers blocking National Highways and toll plazas.
