EU bans Belarusian airlines from European skies
On Tuesday the European Union banned Belarusian airlines from the European skies after the flight was diverted to Minsk on Sunday.
A 26 years old Roman Protasevich was born on a flight travelling from Greece to Lithuania which was bombed. Belarus was also accused of hijacking the Ryanair planes.
However, Belarus authorities have released the video of the detentions of Mr Protasevich, a journalist at Minsk airport.
The United States President Joe Biden described this action of Belarusian airlines as a "Shameful outrageous assault on political journalists & on the freedom of the press".
