Energy source to Chernobyl Restored

• The power source to Ukraine's Chernobyl nuclear power plant has now been restored, according to the Ukraine 24 TV network on Tuesday, contributing that authorities have alerted the IAEA.

• According to Rosatom's declaration, the disused Chernobyl plant's external source is being regained.

• Ukraine had alerted of an elevated risk of a Chernobyl nuclear accident if its large power line, which had been affected by the fighting, was not fixed.

• According to Ukrenergo, the state-owned power system operator, the Chernobyl plant is now dependent on generating units for power after its excess power was punctured again on Monday.
