The Congress party on Friday launched its 'youth-centric' manifesto for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections next month.
In the manifesto the party has promised giving 20 lakh jobs to the youth of UP if it is voted to power in the state. Of these eight lakh jobs will be for women.
Addressing the press at the launch of the ‘youth manifesto’ called ‘Bharti Vidhan’, Rahul Gandhi said the vision document is “not hollow words” but has been drafted after consulting youth whose views are reflected in it.
The leaders further stated that they will promote young entrepreneurs by facilitating collateral-free credits, providing seed-funding to startups and promoting MSME clusters.
