The BJP led NDA alliance on Saturday released the alliance's manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections of the state of Punjab.
The manifesto ensure 75% reservation of government jobs for the residents of Punjab and 50% reservation in private jobs.
The manifesto ensures 35% reservation for women in government jobs, and Rs 4,000 as unemployment allowance for all graduates for a period of two years if the alliance forms the next government in the state.
The manifesto titled “Punjab, Punjabis and Punjabiat”, also stated a 'zero tolerance policy' for incidents of sacrileges and ensured setting up fast-track courts to decide on such matters.
On the economic front, the NDA has promised special incentives for revival of medium and small industry sector, which includes electricity at Rs 4 per unit to MSMEs and Rs 5 per unit to all other industries.
