#Elections2022: AAP declares CM face for Goa elections

• Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday declared their Chief Ministerial candidate for the Goa legislative assembly elections.

• The party named Amit Palekar, a lawyer and social worker as the party’s chief ministerial candidate ahead of Goa’s Assembly Polls in February.

• With this choice, party chief Arvind Kejriwal fulfilled his promise of choosing someone from the numerically strong Bhandari community for the top post in the state.

• While making the announcement, Kejriwal stated that Mr. Palekar is a fresh young face, an educated man and someone ready to bring change in the state.
