ED seizes Amway India's assets worth ₹750 crores

  • On Monday, Enforcement Directorate (ED) said that the department has seized the assets of Amway India worth over ₹757 crores under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

  • ED has attached Amway India's properties including- land and factory building in the Dindigul district in Tamil Nadu.

  • Vehicles, bank accounts, and fixed deposits have also been attached.

  • Immovable and movable assets are worth ₹411.83 crores and the total bank balance stood at ₹345.94 crores.
