Sirjan KaurED raids places linked to IAS Pooja Singhal; Rs 18 crore found
The Enforcement Directorate on Friday conducted raids at 18 different locations across four states related to Jharkhand Mining Secretary IAS Pooja Singhal.
The raids took place as part of ED's probe in a case of money laundering involving the alleged diversion of MGNREGA funds.
According to the ED, raids were conducted in Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal and Punjab, and unearthed various documents regarding assets and properties allegedly linked to Singhal. ED sources said they include a multi-speciality hospital in Ranchi.
The ED also found rupees 18 crore cash in a Chartered Accountant's house, who is known to be related to the IAS officer.
