Sirjan KaurEC freezes LJP election symbol amidst intra-party tussle
The Election Commission has frozen the election symbol of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) amidst the ongoing tussle between Chirag Paswan and his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras.
Both the factions have been barred by the EC to use the party's name or party's symbol 'bungalow' till the dispute between the two factions is settled by the poll panel.
It further stated that the two factions can make use of the free symbols available to field their candidates for the upcoming bypolls of two assembly seats.
Chirag Paswan had earlier this week written to the poll body requesting to be allowed to use the party symbol.
