DUSU moves HC against Delhi University decision to consider only class 12 marks for admission

  • The Delhi University Students Union has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court to have a paragraph of the Delhi University Admission Bulletin struck down, according to which the university will evaluate only Class 12 grades for students from the Kerala state board.

  • The DUSU petitioned the Delhi High Court to strike down clause of the DU Admission Bulletin, claiming that it is obviously arbitrary and unlawful in the light of the law.

  • DUSU's appeal, filed through lawyer Ashish Dixit, also seeks to overturn DU's decision to only consider class 12 marks for admission, which was communicated to colleges under the university through email on October 4, 2021.
