
DMK chief, MK Stalin, takes oath as CM
On Friday morning, DMK party chief, MK Stalin took oath as the Chief Minister of the state of Tamil Nadu, along with 33 members of his cabinet.
The oath was administered by the Governor of the state, Banwarilal Purohit, administered the oath at the Raj Bhavan in Chennai, amidst the restrcitions regarding the pandemic.
MK Stalin was sworn in as the Home minister, along with which he will be holding other portfolios as well which include, administrative and police services, special programmes and the welfare of differently abled persons.
This will be MK Stalin's first ever term as the Chief Minister. His cabinet includes 19 former ministers, and only two women
