What: Former Japanese Prime Minister was assassinated while running for his political campaign. Tetsuya Yamagami, 41, an unemployed man, was identified by the police as the suspected murderer. The man is suspected of using a homemade gun to murder former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. He could have manufactured the weapon in a day or two with readily available components like wood and metal pipes. After obtaining parts, such as pipes, it may be completed in two to three days, according to Fukuda, who examined pictures of the gun used in Abe's shooting. Japanese media said that the suspect had admitted to detectives that he had looked up how-to guides online and had even ordered parts and gunpowder.
