
Diesel & petrol prices cross ₹100 mark in many states; prices continue to rise
On Friday, the prices of petrol and diesel hit all-time high rates thereby creating a new record. Both the diesel and petrol prices soared by 35 paise per litre and 30 paise per litre respectively. The prices have increased for the fifth day in a row. In the international markets, the crude oil prices have soared and currently stand at $78 per barrel. In many states like Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Mumbai, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Nagaland ,the diesel and petrol prices have crossed ₹100-mark. Latestly, the diesel price have crossed ₹100-mark in Mumbai.
After the rise, the revised rates of several states are as follow:- Delhi Petrol- ₹103.80 per litre Diesel- ₹92.47 per litre
Mumbai Petrol- ₹109.80per litre
Diesel- ₹100.20 per litre Kolkata Petrol- ₹104.50 per litre Diesel- ₹95.58 per litre
Chennai Petrol- ₹101.20 per litre Diesel- ₹96.93 per litre
