
Diesel & petrol prices cross ₹100 mark in many states; prices continue to rise
On Friday, the prices of petrol and diesel hit all-time high rates thereby creating a new record. Both the diesel and petrol prices soared by 28 paise per litre and 29 paise per litre respectively. The prices of petrol and diesel have increased for the 22nd time since May 4. The petrol prices have risen by ₹5.24 per litre and diesel prices by ₹5.85 per litre since May 4. In many states like Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh, the diesel and petrol prices have crossed ₹100-mark. In Mumbai also, petrol price has crossed ₹100-mark. In Rajasthan also, diesel price has neared ₹100-mark.

Diesel- ₹86.75 per litre
Mumbai
Petrol- ₹102.0 per litre
Diesel- ₹94.15 per litre
Kolkata
Petrol- ₹95.80 per litre
Diesel- ₹89.60 per litre
Chennai
Petrol- ₹97.19 per litre
Diesel- ₹91.42 per litre
