
Diesel & petrol prices cross ₹100 mark in many states; prices continue to rise
On Saturday, the prices of petrol and diesel hit all-time high rates thereby creating a new record. Both the diesel and petrol prices soared by 35 paise per litre respectively. The prices have increased consecutively for the fourth day. The petrol has become 30% costlier than aviation fuel or the fuel used in airplanes. In many states like Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Mumbai, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Nagaland, the diesel and petrol prices have crossed ₹100-mark. Recently, the diesel price has crossed ₹100-mark in Mumbai, Kerala, and Karnataka.
After the rise, the revised rates of several states are as follow:- Delhi Petrol- ₹107.24 per litre Diesel- ₹95.97 per litre
Mumbai Petrol- ₹113.12 per litre Diesel- ₹104.00 per litre
Kolkata Petrol- ₹107.78 per litre Diesel- ₹99.08 per litre
Chennai Petrol- ₹104.22 per litre Diesel- ₹100.25 per litre
