Democrats introduce a bill to prevent future ban on immigration on the religious lines
Democrats in the United States of America are set to introduce a legislation in the Congress which aims at preventing future ban on entry of Muslim nationals.
This comes after Former President Donald Trump had put a ban on the entry of Muslims from Iran, North Korea, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Venezuela.
However recently elected President Joe Biden had overturned this provision of law on his first day.
The bill name National Origin-Based Antidiscrimination for Nonimmigrants (NO BAN) Act was reintroduced on Friday by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler and Judy Chu.
The NO-BAN act aims at preventing any possible future ban on entry of people to the US by any serving president solely on the basis of religion.
