Delhi HC to resume physical operation from March

• After nearly a year, the Delhi High Court will restore its full physical operation from March 15, 2021.

• Till March 12, the current system of hearings will begin.

• After conducting only virtual courts from March 2020 on account of the COVID-19 pandemic, the High Court had reinstated physical hearing in its premises a restricted manner in September 2020.

• From January 18, 2021, eleven Benches of the High Court – two Division Benches, three Single Benches (Civil), three Single Benches (Criminal) and three Initial Jurisdiction Benches-have started holding physical court.

• Some Benches have also followed the hybrid mode from holding court hearings.
