Delhi Govt. approves 2 new flyovers for the state

  • On Tuesday, Delhi Government announced two new flyovers in the east and west Delhi.

  • The two new elevated corridors would cost nearly ₹724.36 crores.

  • These projects were approved during a meeting of the expenditure finance committee (EFC) headed by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.

  • One flyover will connect Anand Vihar to Apsara Border and the other will connect Raja garden to Punjabi Bagh Flyover.

  • These flyovers will play an important role in reducing traffic.

  • "The Delhi government approved two key flyover projects today. New Flyover between Anand Vihar & Apsara Border. New (Elevated) Corridor between Raja Garden & Punjabi Bagh Flyover. These projects are vital for decongesting city traffic & shall be completed in 18 months," Manish Sisodia tweeted.
