Delhi Govt. approves 2 new flyovers for the state
On Tuesday, Delhi Government announced two new flyovers in the east and west Delhi.
The two new elevated corridors would cost nearly ₹724.36 crores.
These projects were approved during a meeting of the expenditure finance committee (EFC) headed by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
One flyover will connect Anand Vihar to Apsara Border and the other will connect Raja garden to Punjabi Bagh Flyover.
These flyovers will play an important role in reducing traffic.
"The Delhi government approved two key flyover projects today. New Flyover between Anand Vihar & Apsara Border. New (Elevated) Corridor between Raja Garden & Punjabi Bagh Flyover. These projects are vital for decongesting city traffic & shall be completed in 18 months," Manish Sisodia tweeted.
