Delhi facing third wave of COVID-19: Delhi CM

Amid rising COVID-19 cases, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said “there is a third wave of COVID-19 cases in Delhi.” "There is no dearth of beds in hospitals and medical infrastructure.” he further added.

Between September to October, there was a decline in positivity rate and infections but the trend is now reversed.

The union territory reported 6,725 positive cases on November 3 2020. Delhi saw a surge in cases even as the country saw a downward trend. Presently total number of active cases in India are below the 6-lakh figure. The Delhi government has launched a ‘Green Delhi Movement’ in order to curb rising pollution levels which have also added to a surge in coronavirus cases.
