Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday announced a 10 point action plan to tackle the winter pollution in the capital.
The plan is focussed at curbing air pollution in the capital which reaches a peak during the winters.
He stated that instead of playing counter blame game, his government has come up with a solution to the problem of stubble burning, which he has requested the centre to adopt.
For stubble burning, the govt has prepared a decomposer (a solution) with the help of Pusa Institute. This solution, once sprayed on the crop residue will eliminate the need to burn it.
75 teams are designated to survey the entire national capital and impose heavy penalty on those who are found violating the government's dust pollution norm.
A ban on firecrackers has been placed and smog towers have been installed in different parts of the national capital.
