Delhi BJP holds ‘Mahamrityunjay jaap’. The reason behind this will shock you

• The Delhi branch of Bhartiya Janata Party held the 'Mahamrityunjay jaap' or prayer for the safety of and the long life of PM Modi in 194 locations in the capital.

• These prayers were organised after the incident of security breach in Punjab- when the PM visited there for an election rally.

• Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta and party's national general secretary Dushyant Gautam held prayers at the Shiva temple in Connaught Place.

• Adesh Gupta, in a statement to news channels, stated that the Prime Minister belonged to the country and not a particular and therefore, the responsibility of his security was on the whole country rather than a group.
