
Court discharges six persons held under the 2020 Delhi Riot Case, citing no CCTV Footage was placed
Six people have been released from the 2020 riot case in the national capital, according to a Delhi court.
Amir, Saddam, Mohd. Rahis, Amir, Akram, and Wasim have all been released by the Curt. According to the report, the FIR was filed under IPC Sections 147, 148, 149, 436, and 427.
Earlier in the day, a Delhi court acquitted four individuals in the North East Delhi riot case, stating that their identification as rioters who looted and set fire to the complainant's home was very improbable.
Dinesh Yadav, Tinku, Sahil, and Sandeep were acquitted by Additional Sessions Judge Virender Bhat in a case involving robbing, vandalising, and setting a house and shop on fire in the Bhagirathi Vihar district during the capital's riots on February 26, 2020.
