Climate protestor interrupts French Open semi-final

• French Open semi-final between Casper Rudd and Marin Cilics was held up by a climate protestor who ted herself to the net.

• When the woman ran and attached herself to the net, the players were forced to leave the court for 10 minutes.

• When the play was interrupted, Rudd was leading and later went on to win the match.

• The woman is said to be a part of a group of campaigners who oppose France’s ‘inaction’ towards climate change.
