CJI Ramana Slams Inaction by IB, CBI and State Forces Over Threats to Judges

• When it comes to threats and verbal abuse of judges and judicial personnel, the Supreme Court has stated that the Intelligence Bureau and the Central Bureau of Investigation have not been of any assistance to the court.

• According to the court, a judicial officer does not even have the authority to file such complaints.

• According to the Supreme Court, there are numerous criminal cases involving criminals and high-profile individuals, and judges of the trial and high courts are being intimidated not only physically but also mentally through nasty comments on Whatsapp and Facebook.
