CJI hails Former PM Narsimha Rao as the "Father of Economic Reforms"
CJI N V Ramana stated on Friday that conflict settlement via discussions and mediation is part of Indian culture, referring to former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao as the father of economic reforms in the country.
Justice Ramana, speaking at the Registration of Trust Deeds of the International Arbitration and Mediation Centre here, said the city is well positioned to have an international arbitration centre, and that the cost of dispute resolution through the centre would be much lower than in other countries.
