
CJI calls for formulating programmes to reintegrate women prisoners into the society
Mr. N V Ramana, the Hon'ble Chief Justice of India, has stated that programs and assistance to reintegrate women inmates into society are needed.
The Chief Justice was speaking at the National Legal Services Authority's 32nd Central Authority Meeting as the keynote speaker (NALSA). The Patron-in-Chief of NALSA is Hon. Mr. Justice N.V. Ramana, Chief Justice of India.
Justice Ramana expressed his delight at seeing the report on the rehabilitation of female inmates, which was one of the Meeting's agenda issues for discussion.
