CJI calls for formulating programmes to reintegrate women prisoners into the society

  • Mr. N V Ramana, the Hon'ble Chief Justice of India, has stated that programs and assistance to reintegrate women inmates into society are needed.

  • The Chief Justice was speaking at the National Legal Services Authority's 32nd Central Authority Meeting as the keynote speaker (NALSA). The Patron-in-Chief of NALSA is Hon. Mr. Justice N.V. Ramana, Chief Justice of India.

  • Justice Ramana expressed his delight at seeing the report on the rehabilitation of female inmates, which was one of the Meeting's agenda issues for discussion.
