Chirag Paswan to move to court over his uncle's inclusion in Union Cabinet

  • Lok Janshakti Party’s Member of Parliament from Jamui and until recently, the party chief Chirag Paswan today declared that he will file a case in the Delhi HC against the induction of his uncle and LJP MP from Hajipur, Pashupati Paras in the Union Government.

  • Chirag Paswan stated that while it was the Prime Minister's pererogative as to whom to grant the ministership to, Paras can't be granted the office on the LJP quota- since he has been removed from the party.

  • He further stated that 66 of the 75 members of the LJP's national executive support him, and therefore Pashupati Paras' claim of being the national leader of the party , wont stand true in front of the Election Commission.
