Chinese whistleblower who exposed Covid outbreak in Wuhan reappears

• Chen Qiushi, said to have been the whistleblower who exposed Covid outbreak in Wuhan, has reappeared 18 months after being abducted.

• He first vanished in early February last year after the virus spread around the world.

• The former human rights lawyer and citizen journalist has now resurfaced.

• He appeared in a YouTube livestream with Xu Xiaodong, martial artist. Mr. Qiushi stated in the video, “Over the past year and eight months, I have experienced a lot of things. Some of it can be talked about, some of it can’t. I believe you understand.”

• He is one of the three people who disappeared in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic after warning the world about the outbreak in Wuhan.
