China tested hypersonic missile in August

• China tested a new space capability with a hypersonic missile in August.

• According to reports, a nuclear-capable missile was launched in Beijing in August that circled the earth at a low orbit before it descended towards its target which it is said to have missed by 32 kilometers.

• Financial Times stated that the hypersonic glide vehicle was carried by a Long March rocket, lunched of which it usually announced.

• The United States, Russia and at least five other countries, along with China are working on hypersonic technology.
