China reports worst floods in recent years
Although China might be a global economic power and a major production hub yet the country is facing tough times in handling the worst floods in recent years.
Around 100,000 people have been relocated from a central Chinese city known as the world's biggest production base for iPhones, after record rainfall led to widespread floods and the death of at least 12 people
Notably President Xi Jinping has asked the country officials to step up relief work saying the citizens were facing hard times.
Moreover the increased rainfall is equal to 8-months rainfall. This can be associated to the rising climate change impact.
