China launches a new vaccine for children? Tap to find out

• As coronavirus cases continue to rise across the world several countries are racing against each other to vaccinate their citizens.

• In a major move China has authorised its health authorities for emergency use of coronaVac,manufactured by Chinese firm Sinovac, for children aged between 3 and 17 years, Sinovac Chairman Yin Weidong said.

• Notably UK has also approved a vaccine for children aged between 12-15 years of age. Although China had lagged behind the vaccination pace however it has ramped up its effort which was possible through spreading the message across various institutions of the state , CCP and schools.
